The Difference Between Truth And Fiction (Is Pure Meth)

“Breaking Bad” is increasingly about how unpleasant that actually is in real life. Walt’s justifications for why he should have what he wants stem almost entirely from believing that he’s owed in some way, that the universe has screwed him over. Yet when the series begins, he has a pretty good life. He has a beautiful wife, a loving son, a baby on the way, and a house with a swimming pool. Maybe he doesn’t like either of his jobs, but who does? And when he gets cancer, old friends who feel a debt to him offer to pay for the treatments. Yet all Walter needs is the slightest provocation to look around himself, reach out for anything within reach, and cry out, “I want that!” like a spoiled toddler.

Shocking despatch from Kim Jong-un's sinister state reveals the country's scientists are mass producing highly addictive 'crystal meth'

Notes On The Passing ScenenecS gnissaP ehT nO setoN

Instead of Speed Racer - or even Racer X - this looks like it was Racer Ecstasy, which is understandable, considering.

Whoa - creeped me out - Alright, somebody's got a bit more than

Duh! Of course a Divorce Study Shows That Unreasonable Behavior Ends More Marriages Than Infidelity because immaturity's usually all it is nowadays. One of the two can't admit they're wrong - and nobody's going to make them.

The system's as childish, and exploitive, as they are.

You’re the black blogger conference right?

We’d love to work with you but we need to pass you over to our ‘African American market segment’ division.

You’re just making it harder on yourself. It would be so much easier if you branded as the Af-Am social media event.

Oh! We need a black blogger for this campaign (no matter what the subject matter) – you’d be perfect!

Can you tell us what Black Twitter has to say about this issue?
"I’d say that you ought to get rich. It is your duty to get rich. Men who get rich may be the most honest men you find in a community. That is why they are rich. That is why they are trusted with money."

The 1st Is Approaching: Soon - My "Welfare Check Day"

Alright, it's 3AM and I just woke up for no reason - an hour ago. Great.

A cup of coffee, to wash down a 88 cent TV dinner, and here I am, violently disagreeing with Soundgarden's Kim Thayil about bandleaders, but completely understanding when it comes to Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan:
“If you’ve got a band where one guy calls the shots, that’s a band that’s going to suck. Because the guy might have bad thoughts in his head. Well I just came out of sobriety and I’ve got this idea for a rock record, I just married my third wife and I have this new idea for a rock record.”

I've told you, you gotta watch the multi-spouse thing, because - like gays trying to be straight or straights "experimenting" with being gay - that's a give away you don't know what's going on, and people notice these things. That's why Kim mentioned it.

I also like that he compared it to those "inspired" by quitting drugs. They always become defensive assholes, too. (You ever been around somebody who just started?)

Fuck, if Soundgarden hasn't always sounded like somebody taking a dump, Kim Thayil would be my hero.

Well, I know he has one, anyway. And somebody running a church, or school, apparently played with it and little Dickie Dawkins doesn't care.

Compared to most people, I think that makes him more "odd" than anything else, don't you?

“Mitt Romney just bought a black grandchild, straight cash dawg.”
Along with all the other hilarious (and "resentful") comments receivedsurrounding news Mitt Romney's got an adopted grandchild, a black conservative found time to make a fool of himself by writing "with the taxes the Romneys pay, they already have adopted an entire city of ignorant black people."

Really?

That's news to me - and without the Mormon "church" around us?

Too bad the country couldn't have gotten a guarantee, on that deal, when he ran for president:

Instead of getting kicked out of this place, I might have been moving into Mitt's already,...

My Dinner: An Expired Can Of Soup - Eaten In Freedom

Today I was told I'm becoming the thing I hate. I don't know if that's better than becoming the thing he hates:

“To all the folks living in poverty and drug and crime-infested communities, that was me as well, so I have lived all the lives of the people who come before me.  I can relate to them. I can speak their language.

You know we talk about the criminal justice system and in many ways I think it is criminal in and of itself. Being from the inside and the outside, I have the observation that the justice system, throughout our journey, has been used as a tool of oppression.

We find that we have a system where we fail to educate African-American men and we remove the jobs from their community and replace the jobs with guns and drugs and a failed education system and what we’re seeing now is the majority of our prison population is made up of African-American men.”
- TV's Judge Mathis

So - I can be trapped in a system of racial oppression - or, somewhat out of it, but still talking about a system of racial oppression. Hmmm:

I don't think my accuser's crazy about either option,...

Movies Will Get You Real High (If Not, They're Downers)

My Country Is My True Family (And I Was Raised Mean)

I've made a point of mentioning I'm the product of foster care, so all I can offer on this whopper of a story is - if you were one of those kids - your Momma and Daddy (or somebody) would be maaaaad:

Hope that explains my outlook a little better,...
